Whirlwind of a Month

Hello everyone! I can't believe October is over already. It went by so fast! I finished my move, I'm halfway done my second to last semester of school, and got a cold. The last one isn't so great but it's still part of what this month brought.
Moving is probably the most stressful thing that happened this month. I had a month and a half to move and it just felt like it was this huge weight on my shoulders. I was so stressed out and every time I looked at my boxes to start packing I felt like crying. I am super fortunate that I have amazing friends and boyfriend who came to my rescue a few times. They came one Saturday and pretty much packed my entire place up while I just sat there overwhelmed. Not only did they pack my place up, my friends offered to store/use some of my furniture and helped me pack my car up with stuff. I can't believe how lucky I am to have the friends I do. They have been there for me in so many ways. I took a day off my practicum early in October to get pretty much everything out so all I had left was to clean. My one friend, on their day off, came and helped me get the last everything into my car and brought me tea. Bringing me tea made me so happy. I love tea so much! Like I think I have a problem some days. My tea collection has gotten out of control! Anyways...I am so glad that I have finished my move and am getting all settled in at my sister's.

I swear I say it every semester, but this one has flown by. I have been super busy with assignments and practicum. I am loving my practicum placement and really enjoying getting to meet and work with all the youth. It'll be a little sad when I leave in February. But I can't wait to be finally done my degree. I have been debating on whether to do my master's right away or work for a year or two. I have been leaning more towards waiting. I want to work for a bit and just enjoy not being a student.

I am kicking this cold and am so glad to not be coughing anymore! So many people have been sick at school and practicum. I am glad I didn't get the flu thing that others got. I only missed one day of school. Taking that day off I rested and was good to go the next day. Here's to hoping I stay healthy the rest of the school year.

Take care everyone!
