The Ups and Downs of February

February was an interesting month full of ups and downs. Vancouver and area got a lot of snow for here, which meant I got 2 snow days from school! Which then lead to 2 weeks off
with reading break. Made for a much needed break. School has been a little difficult lately in feeling like the expectations are lower than I thought they would be in the 3rd year of a program. I'm happy that I am continuing my education and working towards my goal, but it makes me worry that I won't be prepared for my Master's after 4th year. I've been thinking a lot about what I want to do for Master's degree and choosing between a few universities that have programs I'm interested in. I will apply to all that I'm interested in, but it's scary to think of all the work that goes into applying and the possibility of not getting accepted.
My man and I did get some sad news that his grandmother had passed away near the end of the month. This was our 3rd funeral together and we have been together less than a year. We have been through so much in the short amount of time we've been together.
We do have some things to look forward to in the coming months though. We are going with my sister to Seattle mid March and then to Quebec City with my parents in April. Weekend's away are what are keeping me sane right now. Between work , school and plans for my Master's I need time away to relax and keep me sane!

Take care everyone!

PS. I am looking into how to start selling the things that I knit and crochet. I will keep you all updated on what that will look like as I figure things out.
