Beach Bound

Waiting & blogging
Happy Holidays!! I am so excited for today as I am leaving for my trip to Antigua for 2 weeks. It is a much needed break. This semester felt like it flew by while also being incredibly stressful. With so many things happening in my personal, school, and work life this trip will provide the relaxation I need. The flying there and back is always somewhat stressful. Take today for example, I thought that I was going to have to figure out how to take transit to the airport, which was adding so much stress, then my wonderful man took the day off just so he could spend the morning with me and then drive me to the airport. We left with plenty of time to spare and about 5 minutes before the airport there was an accident that had just happened in front of us. Luckily we didn't get stuck in traffic too long, but made me stress out even more. Though I arrived at the airport with like 2 hours wait for my flight, and yes I am that person who is 2 hours early, I am way less stressed out knowing that I have time to find my way and relax a bit.
So now I am waiting in the Vancouver Airport waiting to board my flight to Calgary where I will meet up with my family and then make our way together to Toronto, then Antigua. Flying to Antigua is not the easiest and takes way longer than I think that it should. I think there is only 1 flight a day or every couple days to Antigua from Toronto. That extra layover in Toronto is the worst. We are flying the midnight flight from Calgary to Toronto instead of staying overnight this time.
There used to be hills back there
As I am sitting here by the window at the airport I am watching a mist or fog roll in. I am hoping this will not have any affect on the flight!! Talking with my mom on their drive up to Calgary, she was saying it is crazy windy there, which is normal for southern Alberta, but made me nervous for them driving in it.

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!! I am fortunate this year to get to spend it with my parents and I hope everyone gets to spend some time with the special people in their lives!! 🎄🎄

Lights, Camera, It's Light Festival Season!

With classes coming to an end this week, final exams starting and waiting, not so patiently, for it to be December 18, I have been pretty busy! I got to check out some really cool light festivals this month and lucked out each time that it was not raining. My lovely boyfriend
Lights at Lafarge Lake
and I first went to the Bear Creek Light Festival at the beginning of November with some of his nieces and nephew. It was gorgeous. So many lanterns and lights all set up. The only downside was how packed it was the first night! It was like a traffic jam at the bridge so you couldn't really move anywhere. We walked around the dark park to one of the other entrances and got in no problem. The second light festival we went to was at Lafarge Lake. This one was much bigger than the Bear Creek one. They had stages set up for music and a bunch of booths. I love going to these things because they are typically free and it's just a nice night out, walking and spending time together. Living in the Vancouver area everything is so expensive so it is so nice to be able to go out to something and not have to spend much or any money. We did get hot chocolate and mini doughnuts as a treat, but you don't have to.

The lights make me green!
With my work being closed for the month, I have been spoiled with time to spend with my boyfriend and go to all these events that I often miss out on. I am back to work this weekend and really looking forward to it, but I'm definitely going to miss spending so much time with people. I have 2 weeks and then I am off on my Christmas adventure to Antigua with my family. I will miss our first Christmas together, but that's okay. The beach is calling and I must answer. This semester has been a little rough, course wise, and I am so excited to be able to go somewhere and relax.

My boyfriend thought he was really funny in when I asked if we could take a cute picture, the green picture is what happened. Most of the time he cooperates and takes pictures, but sometimes he takes some creative liberties. Usually they come out pretty entertaining.

To all my fellow students, good luck on final projects and exams! To everyone else have a wonderful day and remember to take care of yourself!

Lots of love to you all!!

Getting Back to Me

I never expected this blog to be the place where I would talk about such personal things. I had intended for it just to be about the adventures I have travelling and living in the Vancouver area.

With that being said it is amazing to me how just being back in school and working towards my goal, has reminded me why I am in the field I am. I was feeling like I wasn't going anywhere and wasn't happy with my life. Last year I had started school but it almost felt like I was starting over. Now that I am in the degree program for Child and Youth Care I actually feel like I am moving forward and that my goal is attainable. I was in my first aid re-certification course a couple weeks ago and talking with a gentleman in the course and he was so excited about what I was taking and saying how there is such a need for it. It's little things like that that make me proud of my decision to go into this field. Working with children and youth is not easy and it is something that I am incredibly passionate about. Being in school has reminded me of that passion and has gotten me excited for the future.

I am incredibly lucky that my partner is in a similar field being a teacher and he understands some of what I am learning and what I am working with. He is also super supportive of me and understanding when we aren't able to see each other because I have assignments to finish. He also listens to me vent to about how annoying some assignments are and group projects. I could gush about him all day.

I think before I had been stuck in a rut and was not putting the effort in to read about research in the Child and Youth care field. This made me feel like I couldn't move forward or focus on my goal of becoming a counsellor. As I realise that I haven't actually said what my goal is. I want to do my Masters in Counselling Psychology and become some sort of counsellor with youth. It is not a field that you can leave school and not continue to read articles and research. It's a growing and changing field all the time and I wasn't committed to that before.

Being back in the school routine has helped in others areas of my life as well. I was struggling with getting back into a workout routine and feeling pretty crap about myself. I have put on a bit of weight and instead of feeling sorry for myself and reverting back to old ways I took control. I am currently doing a 30 yoga challenge courtesy of Yoga with Adriene. Who I could not recommend more for anyone wanting to try yoga. I have been a follower of hers for a very long time and fell off the bandwagon after hurting myself and having to do physio. But now I am back and on Day 13 today! It is crazy to see how quickly I have gained back some of the muscle and flexibility. I am not where I would like to be but I am proud of myself for doing something about it and not just sitting around complaining.

This was a longer post than I had intended and covers so many topics. I realise that I haven't been posting as much as I have taken time for me and getting back to feeling like myself. Self care is super important!

Take care everyone and love yourself!

Highs and Lows

September so far has been full of ups and downs. New beginnings and sad endings.
I started school in the 3rd year of my Child and Youth Care Degree which has been exciting, scary, and a lot of reading. 3rd year has way more expectations than 1st or 2nd year. It's been wonderful meeting so many new people and my professors are pretty awesome. We had a family dinner with the class to get to know everyone better as not all of us came from the same programs. It was a great time.
The sad ending came with the news a week ago of my ex-boyfriend passing away. It was
completely unexpected as it had heard from him shortly before that and he had said he was doing really well. I hadn't heard anything from him since we broke up just over a year ago. If you have been following me you'll know he struggled with mental health issues but wasn't getting help at the time and I couldn't be the only one he was leaning on and that's why we broke up.
My amazing man has been an incredible support through my ups and downs this month. Even though he lost he grandpa just a few days before I got the news about my ex, he has been there for me.

This weekend both funerals are taking place and it is going to be a tough time for both of us.

Take care everyone and remember to enjoy every moment that you have with the people you care about! All the love!

Cabin and Camping Adventures

It's hard to believe that the summer is almost done already! The last two weeks have been full of adventures with my dear man.
Cutest little cabin!
First we went down to his family's cabin in Point Roberts, Washington for a couple days. It was our first trip together even though it is only an hour away from here. It was beautiful down there and the cabin was super tiny and adorable. His parents have been working incredibly hard to repair. The cabin was cozy and the back patio was the best! We spent some time at the beach there too, which was interesting as at low tide it is so far out from shore. We did go swimming as it was quite a walk out and we didn't want to leave our beach things where we couldn't see them. The best part of the few days were in the evenings we went down to Lighthouse Park and watched the sunset. I am not typically a watch the sunset kind of person, but we happened to be there the first night as it was setting as it was fascinating watching the sky change colours and all the other couples being all cute.
Sunset at Lighthouse Park
Starting out on the 5 hour drive

The second trip was my dear man's family trip to Oliver to camp for a week. It was 5 days spent in a tent and with his whole family. It was so much fun despite all the smoke and the rough start to the trip. We had intended to take my car since it has AC but my car had other plans and about an hour and half into the trip my car decided that it didn't like shifting into fifth gear anymore. That doesn't work so well when you drive a standard and you are going through mountain passes. So we turned around and switched everything into his car. We left super early the next morning so that we wouldn't be driving in the heat of the day. We finally made it and got all set up and ready to swim. The water was a little chilly but it was refreshing after sitting in the car all morning. The only downside was how smokey it was! All the forest fires in the area made it hazy and the last 2 days everything was covered in ash and soot. I went on my first every winery and cidery (is that a word? It is now) tours. The first one we went to was Silver Sage Winery. I had no clue what the lady was saying as she poured each wine, I just drank them. We did end up buying a sage flavoured wine, which was different then other wines I have had. We then went to Bartier Bros Winery. My dear man's brother in law wanted to check this one out and it was interesting. The lady doing the tasting was pretty funny and we got to taste 6 different wines. We ended up buying more wine here. The last place we went to was Howling Moon Cidery (yup I'm using my made up word again. It really should be a word). I really wanted to go here and had asked earlier if anyone else was interested and they all said they would love to try it. The four ciders they make were awesome! All of us got some ciders. Their Spicy Ginger Cider is one of my new favourite ciders.
Last Day in Oliver
The evenings were spent playing board games and card games with his siblings. We had to separate sometimes as some of his siblings have kids so we would take turns playing at each campsite. Played a bunch of games I've never played before. I love learning new games!
As a treat every year my dear man's parents take everyone to Tickleberry's to get ice cream. The ice cream cones are insanely huge. We we both got the kids cone and it's two giant scoops of ice cream on a waffle cone. I got two different flavours, chocolate cheesecake and sea salted caramel. It was a challenge to finish it. All the kids got cones and we asked for bowls and within 2 minutes each kid was eating out of the bowl because their ice cream fell of the cone. My man's brother in law told me that I have now been initiated into the family by coming to Tickleberry's.
Getting to spend so much time with his family for the week was great. I was nervous of the road trip and how we would get along being in the car for 5 hours, but it was mostly a karaoke party the whole way. The drive home was a bit more stressful as there were so many accidents on the way! Made me very nervous and glad I wasn't driving.
This was also my first camping trip ever. I have never slept in a tent other than when I would set it up in the backyard as a kid. It wasn't really true camping, more like glamping, but I still slept in a tent for 4 nights. Even with the air quality being at a 9, with all the smoke.

I hope you all have a wonderful last couple weeks of summer!
If anyone has any board games or card games I should try let me know!

Summer Time is for Food

The month of July has been full of adventures and work. I started a new relationship and have been going on a bunch of adventures with him. The last couple weekends we checked out food festivals.
First was the Surrey Fusion Festival. It was an incredibly nice day out with a breeze that cooled you down even with the sun beating down on us. We got to watch a friend of mine, who's a chef, do a demonstration on how to cook some sort of ribs. Sadly I didn't get to sample them as I'm a vegetarian but they smelt amazing! After that we walked around to try and decide what to eat, with 50 countries represented it was a hard choice. We finally decided on China. My man got chicken Chow Mein and I got a veg egg pancake. Mine was the most interesting thing I've had. It was a cross between an omelette and a pancake with vegetables in it. It was a fun afternoon just walking around and spending time together.

The next weekend we went to the New Westminster Food Truck Festival. We went at 6pm and met up with some of my friends, which might have been the worst time to go as it was super busy and all the lines were ridiculously long. We walked up and down Columbia Street to see all the food trucks before we made a decision on what to get. There were over 100 food trucks and so many options. Being vegetarian my options get a little bit limited but most trucks had at least one option. We both really wanted to go to the Mac and Cheese truck but the line was stupidly long when we were walking back up to it. We watched for a couple minutes and saw that it was moving pretty quickly, so well we debated on whether to wait or not we got in line. We ended up only waiting in line for about 30 minutes and getting our food once ordered in about 5 minutes. Some of our friends that had been there said they waited in line for 30 minutes or more and then had to wait to get there food for another hour. I was not complaining that we got our food so quickly. There was an ice cream vendor that I wanted to go to but I wasn't willing to stand in line again and it wasn't moving at all when we walked by.
The month of July seemed to fly by! I was super lucky to get to spend so much time with my boyfriend and go to these events and enjoy the beautiful weather we have had here in Vancouver! It is the start of August and I have a couple trips planned. I will be going on my first camping trip, which is also our first road trip together.
I hope everyone has a wonderful long weekend!

Renos with Family

Since returning from my trip, I have been spending almost all of my time helping my sister and brother in law renovate their place. They bought a new place and need to finish their renos fast! The first week back our parents stayed and helped to tear out the guest bathroom and kitchen. We got the guest bathroom to almost finished state (just needs the trim) within the first couple days. New floor, toilet, vanity and mirror (after the original mirror fell off the wall while we took a break, there wasn't very much glue holding it up). With that done with
Charlie annoyed we moved things
started the kitchen. I am now a master of building IKEA kitchen cabinets. While my family did other things, I was in charge of organising and building all the cabinets. I love organising so I had everything labeled with numbers so anyone could know which box went with what cabinet. We got so much done in that first week, but not as much as we had hoped. We did start pulling up the carpet and putting laminate down. My dad taught my brother in law how to do it and then my brother in law and I finished the rest of the place. We got a palate of flooring and used all but 11 boxes. I have learned to put in laminate, paint with a roller, not be afraid of using a hammer, and that I'm a lot stronger than I thought I was. Moving furniture around from one side of the room to the other in every room has been tiring. It has taken most of June to do the reno and they still aren't done. Since the end of May they have not had a kitchen, only a few days did the counter top finally arrive and get put in.

The renovations haven't been that bad, except for not having a functioning kitchen. You can't cook anything, the microwave was hidden for the first couple weeks so you couldn't even heat something up. Eating out and getting delivery was getting tiring and we just wanted to eat good healthy home cooked food. We have eaten so bad, so much junk food.
I think the most surprising thing about the whole project has been people's reactions to the fact that I just come and help. I don't live them and I'll even go while my sister and brother in law are at work and paint. I ask my sister to leave me a list and go over on my days off.
Fitz is tired of all the renos
People are shocked that I would do that. My sister and I grew up in a house that was always having something done and we were just raised to help people out. We like this kind of stuff. But people are always surprised that I would willingly just go over and help out, no questions asked. We never thought it was weird until they said something. We help each other out all the time with anything. Always have and hopefully always will. I've helped with my brother's renovations when he bought his house 4 years ago. It has been nice to spend so much time with my sister and it was great that my parents was able to stay for a week to help. We will all be incredibly happy when the renos are done, but then it will be time to pack to move to their new place! It's been a busy month and top of the renos I have been working and dealing with my college. As things get done hopefully I'll get to spend more time hiking and doing fun things this summer!

Have a fantastic Monday!

Ireland, Scotland and Home

I like to be comfy when I fly
The month of May feels like it has flown by! I started out my holiday flying from Vancouver to Calgary to meet up with my family at the airport to continue onwards to Dublin, Ireland. It was an extremely long travel day but we made it, tired and hungry and ready for sleep. Too bad it was only about 3pm when we arrived. So had a little nap then got up and found a place to eat, which was a funky restaurant called The Lucky Duck that was in a very interesting building. It was 3 or 4 stories high and each floor had a few rooms on it that had tables set up in each. The bar tender told us all about the building and was super chatty, which it turns out most people in Ireland and super chatty and friendly. Anyway we had supper, then got a few groceries and then headed back to our Airbnb and called it a day. We did a lot of stuff while in Dublin. We were only there for 5 days and we were busy exploring everyday. We took tours of the Guinness Factory, Jameson's Factory, and Kilmainham Goal (an old prison). We also went to St. Patrick's Church which was right by our house. My dad loves the Red Bus Tours that you can do in some cities so we explored that city that way too, which was pretty entertaining. My mom and I did find a yarn store and bought some yarn and knitting needles. Dublin was a lot of fun and we lucked out with the weather. We were expecting rain and for it to be cooler but our whole trip in both countries it was sunny and 20 degrees. I actually got sunburned on this trip.
Edinburgh Castle from house
After Dublin we got on a tiny plane and headed to Edinburgh, Scotland. The Airbnb that we stayed at was AMAZING! It was huge and when you walked out the front door you were looking at Edinburgh Castle. Edinburgh was quite a bit busier then Dublin and there were a lot more tourists then I was expecting for the beginning of May. On Mother's Day, my mom and I climbed Arthur's Seat. It was something that I had read about while planning the trip and I was expecting to climb it myself, but my mom wanted to come with me. She was a trooper! She is waiting on knee surgery and still climbed it! We went to Edinburgh Castle and it was so windy my brother's girlfriend and I ended up buying toques. I get ear infections so easily that it was a no brainer to get a toque. An exciting part of Edinburgh was getting to go on a steam train just like the Hogwarts Train and go over the viaduct! We also walked the street that is said to be the inspiration for Diagon Alley. There were tons of Harry Potter items sold everywhere. I did buy a Hufflepuff notebook and some Harry Potter earrings. Edinburgh was a very interesting city to see, I wish I could have spent more time there. After 5 days we said goodbye to Edinburgh and my brother and his girlfriend as they headed home and my parents and I got the train to Aberdeen.

Harry Potter train at the Viaduct
I got candy on the train
My mom's family came from Aberdeen, so we wanted to explore the area a bit. The train ride was great getting to see the coast and more of the Scottish countryside. My dad got quite sick while in Aberdeen and ended up staying in bed for a couple days while my mom and I went out and explored. We went to this old prison that you had to climb the steepest, narrowest, spiral staircases to get to. That is one thing I love about getting to explore old buildings is seeing how they are built. A lot of places that we went to there were warnings to watch your head because the door frames and ceilings are lower. I only found one door on this trip that I had to duck. I am 4'11''. That never happens. The doorway in question was at Dunnottar Castle. It is a castle out on a cliff and was fascinating to get to climb around. You are able to climb all over this castle. It hasn't been restored and is somewhat ruined but still cool. The last day in Aberdeen I started to get my dad's cold. I was feeling fine until about halfway through the 8 hour flight home. I got very sick and ended up spending the first day at the farm sleeping and throwing up. But I am feeling better and enjoying being at the farm for a few days before I drive back to Vancouver!

Free for the Summer

I am done all my exams and free to do whatever I want for the summer along with working. I'm hoping that this summer I can spend as much time as possible outside at the beach, park, hiking and just generally out and exploring. After my month long holiday in May, which I leave for today! So excited to see my family and spend some time in Ireland and Scotland. It's a well deserved trip after a long year of school and trying to figure out my life!
I have made some friends from my classes and I am looking forward to getting to hang out with them this summer too!
Getting to the airport this morning was pretty stressful with having to drive, find the parking lot, and then take the train from the parking lot. Usually someone drops me off at the airport, but not this time. My brother-in-law is flying back to Vancouver on Monday so it is easier for him to take my car home then taxi in the middle of the night. Now I am at the Vancouver airport waiting for my flight to Calgary to meet up with my family and catch our flight to Amsterdam and then onto Dublin. It's going to be a long day of flying and sitting in airports. Well except for Calgary where I have a 45 minute layover which means I will be running through the airport to catch my plane. That adds a little more stress onto the trip but at least one stressor is over with and I have a little time to walk around the airport before I board. I love flying because I wake up and I'm in a different country. It's wonderful! This is my big adventure of the summer. All my other adventures will be smaller but just as exciting I think. Exploring where I live and surrounding areas will be a blast and hopefully I'll find some cool places to eat. But I am off for now and will keep posting while I am travelling!

May the Fourth be with you! Have a wonderful weekend!!

The Things Life Throws at You

Heating pack was my best friend
It sometimes seems like when one thing happens, so many follow. These past couple weeks have been very much like that. Dealing with a break up is hard enough then add on a coworker passing away and then pulling a muscle in your neck and just plain old having a complete meltdown. I have the bad habit of not expressing my emotions and being strong for everyone else and not wanting others to see that I'm struggling that once every 6 months or so I have a complete breakdown. Ugly crying included. I'm grateful that even though we had just broken up the guy stayed and let me express everything.
Along with pulling a muscle in my neck I went to the doctor and now I have to go to physio and get massages. I have never done either. The idea of getting a massage kind of freaks me out as I don't like people touching me. I am hoping that both help and I will not be in excruciating pain with almost every movement. With only 2 weeks left of classes then exams and then leaving for Europe, I need to get better quickly.
I have now been cleared by my physiotherapist to start working out again. I have healed enough that I can do yoga with modifications and being mindful of my neck and not pushing things. Just in time for exams and get some hiking done before I leave for Europe.
I didn't go get a massage yet and might not as they still freak me out. Having my physiotherapist touch me was enough.

Have a wonderful week and good luck to all you students writing exams!!

Girl Talk

Hello everybody! I hope everyone has been enjoying the cold and snow here in Vancouver as well as everywhere else. I was not very impressed with it but it did cancel school on Friday for me. ☃
I felt like I needed to share with you all the great joy I found in a new product that has been introduced into my life. I bought a Diva Cup*. I was very unsure about getting one and was like this is stupid, how do you even use it etc. But after talking with some friends who have it and being fed up with buying tampons and pads, I bought one. I followed all the instructions on washing and everything before use and then stared at it for a good 5 minutes before taking a deep breath and putting it in. It is not a scary or daunting as it looks and is super comfy! The first few put ins and take outs were a little difficult, but I got the hang of it. There's no waste and you can wear it for like 12 hours. It is wonderful. I am so happy that I bought it. I have horrible periods. Cramps, pain, nauseous, etc, all helped by being on birth control so I am still a semi functioning human being all month long. Except for the days where I decided to be the laziest human and do nothing all day, but everyone needs days like that.
I am excited to save money and have one less thing to worry about. I felt like you should all know this and share in my excitement. No more trying to find the right tampons and pads that are noisy and uncomfortable.
Side note that is a helpful when using the Diva Cup, wash with baby shampoo. My girlfriend gave me this advice and it works great since it is soap free, everything free since it is for babies.
Have a wonderful, happy period all you amazing women!

P.S. Thanks to my wonderful boyfriend for not being weirded out when I was discussing my period with him.

*I am in no way associated with Diva Cup. These are my own thoughts and feelings on the product.

Bubble Baths and Tears

Hey everyone! Sorry that I haven't been posting as much as I would like to be. School has been more stressful this semester than I thought it would be. This much needed week off for reading break was very much needed! So many things happening in my life and trying to figure things out. Had a few meltdowns along the way, full of crying, chocolate and bubble baths. I am incredibly grateful to my new boyfriend that he has been a shoulder to cry on and will listen to me blubbering about everything that is going on. And yes I started dating someone! I met him at the end of August and we went on a few dates, then because of how life was going at that point, decided to just be friends and then in January we decided to take a chance and see where things go! There's never really a perfect time to start a relationship or anything so even though we are both stressed out we are managing.

Anyway... back to what I was saying before I went off on a tangent. I have been feeling lately like I am not moving forward toward my goal of becoming a counsellor. This semester of classes oddly enough are more related to being a counsellor as I am taking two psychology courses, but I feel like I am coasting or something. Just not where I should be, but I don't exactly know where I should be. I am working on my admissions requirements and doing what needs to be done. But I am feeling like I am behind in life. Which I don't really know what that means. I know I shouldn't compare myself to other people, but it is hard when a majority of your friends are getting married, having kids, travelling, working etc. I sometimes feel like I took a step back going back to school, but at the same time if I hadn't gone back to school I wouldn't be working towards becoming a counsellor and be stuck in the same place. I love my job and what I do, but I want to be able to do a similar thing but in a different way. Right now I work at a youth treatment centre. It has been an amazing experience and has taught me so much. It's a big reason why I want to become a counsellor. I want to be hands on with children and youth and get to see them grow. I just want to work in a different setting. And to be completely honest, make a little more money. I know this field isn't really one that is lucrative, but it would be nice to not be living pay cheque to pay cheque. I had a mini meltdown today about this same topic while I was out for coffee with my boyfriend. Let's just say this much needed week off hasn't been as restful as I had hoped. Thank goodness I have a trip booked for May!

Resolution Experiment

Happy New Year!! I realise I am a little late this year. January has been a busy month and it is only half way through. With the new semester starting, work and my personal life it feels like I haven't had a moments rest yet. But anyways...it is a new year and new beginning. I am not usually one for new year's resolutions, but this year I decided to try one.
I have decided to learn how to do my makeup. I buy makeup with the intention of learning and using it, but I never seem to actually do it. I may for the first day or so, then get frustrated and don't do it anymore. So I found some easy tutorials on YouTube to learn and it is going pretty well. I make an effort to do my makeup each day for school and work. I bought a nice set of brushes to encourage me and it is working. I am hoping that I can keep it up as I learn different techniques and get better at it. I love the idea of doing bright colours and have so many different eye shadows ideas pinned on Pinterest. But I am not sure if I could actually pull them off. I have been sticking to browns for now. Maybe I will get a little wild for my birthday party this weekend and go for pink or something else bright!
My resolution isn't as intense as some, like quitting smoking or losing weight, but I feel like it is something I have been wanting to do for some time. I don't usually prescribe to the idea that January is when you can make resolutions. I think anytime of the year you can. It's more of a matter of if it is something you actually want to accomplish or are just doing it because that's what everybody else if doing.

That's my little rant on resolutions. Please share what your resolutions are or goals or whatever you want to call them!

I will try to remember to post some pictures of my progress and experimenting!

Have a wonderful week everybody!
